The Classico 2 Pizze is Alfa's compact gas pizza oven, sold here with the Alfa wheeled base in Wrinkle Black and an Ardesia Grey oven. It bakes two 12 inch pizzas at a time on a 24 x 20 in HeatKeeper firebrick floor and reaches 1000 F (500 C) in about 30 minutes. It suits a family patio that wants wood-fired style pizza from a gas oven with simple controls.

Installation Notes

This is a freestanding outdoor oven. Alfa's manual calls for at least 8 in (20 cm) from walls and other equipment, 20 in (50 cm) around the flue and 1 m (about 3 ft) above the oven, on a flat, stable surface away from wind. Gas hookup should be done by a licensed installer. For planning help in NYC and Long Island, book a design consultation.

How many pizzas can it cook at once?

Two 12 inch pizzas on the 24 x 20 in floor, with a pizza ready in about 90 seconds once the oven is at temperature.

Can I burn wood in it?

The oven is gas only as shipped. Adding the Alfa Hybrid Kit lets you choose wood or gas.

What gas pressure does it need?

Alfa lists 11 in WC for propane and 4 in WC for natural gas.
