Clean View, tempered-glass HBZDV models. 3624/4224: 24,000 BTU NG / 22,000 BTU LP; 4736: 40,000 BTU NG / 36,000 BTU LP. Framing, viewing area, log/media choices and fitted components differ. Select the same fuel and ignition configuration and verify model-specific requirements.

The Kingsman HBZDV3624 is a 36 in zero clearance direct vent gas fireplace with a dual burner, realistic flame pattern and Designer Clean View technology, which leaves a clean glass front with no louvers. It is the 24,000 BTU version of the HBZDV 36 chassis, sold in natural gas or propane with a millivolt or electronic (IPI) valve and an optional brick or porcelain liner. It suits a bedroom, den or smaller living room where the larger HBZDV3628 burner would be more heat than needed.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

- Optional: fan kit, wall-mount millivolt or programmable thermostat, remote control, and the wall mount battery holder (WMBH) for IPI models
Installation Notes
Install per the Kingsman manual with approved Kingsman flex or hard-pipe venting, observing vent termination clearances. Propane horizontal runs need at least one foot of vertical vent before the first elbow. With the Clean View kit, the floor or hearth may rise up to 3 in (combustible) or 7 in (non-combustible) above the bottom of the fireplace. A licensed gas fitter must install it, and in New York City gas fireplace work requires a licensed professional under a DOB permit. Book a design consultation and we will plan the vent route and framing.

HBZDV3624 or HBZDV3628?
Same 36 in chassis and framing. The 3624 runs up to 24,000 BTU on natural gas; the 3628 up to 28,000 BTU for larger rooms.
Is it vented to the outside?
Yes. It is a sealed direct vent unit vented through a side wall or roof with Kingsman approved vent systems.
Do I have to buy the log set?
The listing marks the LOGC44 burnt oak log set as required; select it in the variant options.
Can I put a mantel above it?
Yes, within the mantel clearances in the manual; painted mantels need a heat-resistant finish rated 250 F.

Warranty
Per the Kingsman manual: basic one (1) year warranty on component parts including labor, and a limited lifetime warranty on the heat exchanger, combustion chamber and burner for the original owner (labor and freight not covered under the lifetime terms).
