Clean View, tempered-glass HBZDV models. 3624/4224: 24,000 BTU NG / 22,000 BTU LP; 4736: 40,000 BTU NG / 36,000 BTU LP. Framing, viewing area, log/media choices and fitted components differ. Select the same fuel and ignition configuration and verify model-specific requirements.

The Kingsman HBZDV4736 is a 47-inch zero clearance direct vent gas fireplace with a large traditional firebox, a dual burner and Kingsman's Designer Clean View kit, which hides the louvers for a clean, framed look. It is a strong value for a family room or den where you want a big, realistic log fire and real heat, and it can run through a power failure on its millivolt or battery-backed IPI valve.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

- Optional: Z36FK fan kit, HB47 liners, wall thermostat or remote control, HB47SBL surround
Installation Notes
Frame to the HB47 framing drawings in the manual, keep 60 in. from the bottom of the fireplace to the ceiling, and leave 1/2 in. in front of the nailing tabs for finish materials. The fireplace vents through a 4 in. x 6-5/8 in. direct vent to an exterior wall or roof; Kingsman recommends at least 1 ft of vertical rise before the elbow on propane horizontal installs. Installation must be done by a qualified, licensed gas installer. In New York City, direct vent gas fireplaces are installed under the NYC Fuel Gas Code by a licensed plumber with DOB filing where required. We can confirm venting and framing during a fireplace consultation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Millivolt or IPI: which should I choose?
Millivolt models use a standing pilot and need no electrical connection. IPI models light the pilot only when needed and run on a battery pack or AC adapter. Both keep working in a power outage.
Is a log set required?
Yes. Kingsman requires a log set or rock kit for each unit. Choose the Fiber Split Oak Log Set in the options above unless you are supplying an approved Kingsman media kit separately.
Does it put out real heat?
Yes. It is certified as a vented gas fireplace heater (ANSI Z21.88) at up to 40,000 BTU/h on natural gas, and the optional fan kit helps circulate warm air.

Warranty
Kingsman Limited Lifetime Warranty: during the first year after installation, defective component parts are replaced including labour, through an authorized Kingsman dealer (accent light bulbs, gasketing, glass fronts and paint excluded). The heat exchanger, combustion chamber and burner are warranted for as long as the original owner owns the fireplace; labour, material, freight and handling are not covered under the lifetime portion.
