The American Made Grills Estate 36-inch built-in grill (EST36-LP / EST36-NG) runs 26,000 BTU red brass burners and a 12,000 BTU infrared back burner, 90,000 BTU in all across 920 sq. in. of cooking surface, in #304 stainless with an 18-gauge double-lined, spring-assisted hood.

The Estate comes loaded: rotisserie kit, griddle, 26,000 BTU drop-in infrared sear burner and smoker tray are in the box.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

  • You will need: a non-combustible island with a 34-3/4 x 21-5/8 x 10-1/4 in. cutout and ventilation
  • You will need: the AMG GL-EST36 insulated liner for a combustible frame
  • You will need: a gas supply with shutoff valve and a 120V GFCI outlet in the island

Optional Accessories

Installation Notes

Frame the island to the AMG cutout and add the matching insulated liner if any framing is combustible. AMG recommends adding 1/4 in. to inner cutout dimensions. Provide upper and lower ventilation, a gas shutoff and a GFCI outlet. In NYC the gas line is run by a licensed plumber under permit.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Estate and Estate Freedom?

Estate ships with red brass burners and the full accessory kit. Estate Freedom uses stainless U-tube burners and includes only a cover and care kit, so you add upgrades as you like.

Do I need an insulated liner?

Only if the island frame is combustible. Masonry or steel-stud islands with cement board do not need one.

Where is it made?

AMG states the grill is built, factory tested and serviced in the USA.

AMD Direct Gold Standard Lifetime Warranty for the original purchaser: lifetime on construction, #304 stainless steel, cooking grates, burners, burner covers, valves, flame tamers, heat zone separators, temperature gauges, hood springs and briquette systems; 3 years on all other parts, components and electrical. Replacement parts only, 100% non-prorated; online registration within 30 days and proof of purchase required; surface rust and discoloration are excluded (AMG manual).
