The American Outdoor Grill 36 inch T-Series built-in (AOG36TP) is a 304 stainless grill head for propane with a Flame Thrower piezo ignition, so it needs no electricity or batteries. It offers 648 square inches of Diamond Sear cooking grids at 50,000 BTU, enough room for a full family cook, in a straightforward design built to last. A strong value for an outdoor kitchen where bringing power to the island is awkward or expensive.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

- Required: a hard, level, ventilated enclosure with a non-combustible countertop and the cutout above; a propane supply. If a cylinder goes inside the island, follow the L.P. cylinder requirements in the owner's manual
- Required for combustible islands: the AOG 36-IL-C insulating liner
- Optional: AOG rotisserie kit, accent black or white control panel, and the matching AOG VHD-36 vent hood for a covered patio
Installation Notes
AOG requires the enclosure to sit on a hard, level surface, be vented, have a non-combustible countertop and give access to the interior for service; the grill hangs from its stainless hanger on the cutout edges and two front support bolts. A combustible enclosure needs the insulating liner. In New York City, propane tank storage carries FDNY rules and gas work must be done by a licensed master plumber under a DOB permit, so confirm the fuel with us before you order. Does it need electricity?
No. The Flame Thrower piezo ignition lights from the knob with no power or batteries.
Can I switch it to natural gas later?
Yes. AOG includes a gas conversion kit with all of its grills; have a qualified technician do the conversion.
What cutout do I need?
36-3/4 in wide, 19-1/2 in deep and 8-1/2 in high, with a 40-3/4 in counter overhang cutout.
What is the difference between the T-Series and L-Series?
Same cutout and cooking area, but the L-Series adds interior halogen lights, a color light bar and an infrared backburner with rotisserie, and it needs 120V power.

Warranty
AOG warrants the stainless steel burners and barbecue housing for as long as the original purchaser owns the grill, Diamond Sear grids for 15 years, valves, controls and manifolds for 10 years, vaporizer panels and rotisserie kits for 3 years, and ignition systems (excluding batteries), grill parts and accessories for 2 years.
