The American Outdoor Grill AOG24TP is the 24 inch T-Series built-in grill, the most compact way into a full AOG outdoor kitchen. It puts 32,000 BTU from 304 stainless tubular burners under Diamond Sear stainless grids, and its Flame Thrower piezo ignition needs no electricity or batteries, so a small island or garden kitchen never needs a power circuit. This listing is the propane model.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

  • Included: grill head with Diamond Sear grids, warming rack, vaporizer panels and drip tray; AOG states all grills include a gas conversion kit
  • Required: a non-combustible countertop, a vented enclosure on a hard, level surface, and a propane supply; a cylinder kept in the enclosure must meet the L.P. cylinder requirements in the AOG owner's manual
  • Combustible enclosure: the AOG 24-IL-C insulating liner
  • Optional: AOG rotisserie kit, 24CRT-25 portable cart base, or AOG24 patio and in-ground post bases

Installation Notes

AOG requires the enclosure to sit on a hard, level surface, be properly vented, have a non-combustible countertop and leave access for service; the grill hangs from its stainless hanger on the cutout edges and two front support bolts. If the countertop overhangs the front wall it must be cut flush for the width of the control panel. No electrical circuit is needed for this T-Series model. In New York City, the FDNY restricts propane cylinder storage and use, so most city installs are natural gas; ask us before ordering propane for a city address. Frequently Asked Questions

Does it need electricity?

No. The T-Series Flame Thrower piezo ignition needs no electricity or batteries.

What cutout do I need?

24-1/2 in wide, 19-1/2 in deep and 8-1/2 in high in a non-combustible enclosure. In a combustible enclosure, build for the 24-IL-C liner instead.

Can I convert it to natural gas?

AOG states all its grills include a gas conversion kit; conversion should be done by a qualified gas installer.

Can it be freestanding?

Yes, with AOG's 24CRT-25 portable cart base or the AOG24 patio and in-ground post bases.

Warranty

AOG's limited warranty covers stainless steel burners and barbecue housings for as long as the original purchaser owns them, Diamond Sear grids for 15 years, valves, controls and manifolds for 10 years, rotisserie kits and vaporizer panels for 3 years, and ignition systems (excluding batteries), grill parts and accessories for 2 years.
