Description
Overall Dimensions: 48 in between the outermost bracket mounting holes (heater weight about 50 lb), per the Lynx LHEM48 manual
The Lynx LHEM48 is a 48 inch eave mount infrared gas patio heater built entirely from welded stainless steel, made to mount under an eave, on a patio wall or on a fascia. Heavy stainless brackets extend 10 to 18 in and pivot 0 to 30 degrees to aim the heat.

- Recommended: a grounded 110V GFI outlet within 24 in of the heater's DC jack, added by a qualified electrician if needed
Installation Notes
Lynx makes the LHEM48 for outdoor use only, never in a garage, building, shed, breezeway or other enclosed area, and asks that the mount hold at least 100 lb. Keep the listed clearances to combustibles, observe local head clearance codes, and have trained, licensed personnel make the gas connection. In New York City, gas work must be done by a licensed master plumber under a DOB permit, and propane tank storage in the city carries FDNY rules, so confirm the fuel with us before you order. How close can it be to an eave?
At least 14 in from overhead combustibles when mounted straight down, or 18 in when angled, and 12 in from side and rear walls.
Does it need electricity?
It can run on batteries, but Lynx recommends the included AC adapter on a grounded GFI outlet, with batteries as backup.
Can it run on propane?
Yes. Order the LHEM48-LP; propane gives three heat levels from the remote.
Can I use it in a screened porch?
Lynx says not to use it in a garage, building, shed, breezeway or other enclosed area.
