The Lynx Professional LSK18 is an 18 in outdoor-rated stainless sink for the prep or bar end of an island: a place to rinse produce, fill pots and wash up without walking back to the house. The basin is insulated, so with the drain closed it doubles as an ice bin for about 18 lb of ice, and the included stainless lid closes it off when it is not in use.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

- You will need: a faucet such as the Lynx outdoor gooseneck faucet (LFK) or Lynx Professional pull-down gooseneck faucet (LPFK), hot and cold supply lines, drain piping with a trap (not supplied), plumber's putty, and a grounded GFCI outlet inside the cabinet

Installation Notes
Cut the countertop to 17 x 22 in, with a 1/2 in notch where the counter overhangs the island face, and keep at least 1/2 in of countertop under the sides and rear of the sink. Leave clear space below for the water and drain lines. Lynx recommends installing the drain assembly with plumber's putty before setting the sink, then pushing the sink back until the bullnose meets the cabinet face; a bead of silicone around the edges keeps water out of the cabinet.
Drain piping must run through a trap to a proper drain under local plumbing code (the Uniform Plumbing Code where no local code applies). Mount the light transformer inside the cabinet where it is protected from water and heat and plug it into a properly grounded GFCI outlet. Lynx recommends a qualified technician for the installation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it come with a faucet?
No. It has one faucet hole and a stainless plug; the Lynx LFK and LPFK outdoor faucets are sold separately.
Can it hold ice?
Yes. The insulated basin holds about 18 lb of ice, and the lid closes it off.
What cutout does it need?
17 in wide, 22 in deep and at least 10-1/2 in high below the counter.
Does it need power?
Only for the LED lights: the supplied transformer plugs into a grounded GFCI outlet in the cabinet.
Can I add a garbage disposal?
Yes. The 3-1/2 in drain is sized to accept a disposal.

Warranty
Lynx warrants the stainless steel housing against defects in material and workmanship under normal domestic use for the lifetime of the original purchaser, excluding surface corrosion, scratches and discoloration from regular use, and all other components for one (1) year from the original date of purchase (Lynx sink manual).
