Installation Notes
Build the cutout at 35 in W x 10 in H x 21.25 in D, with a 2 in round hole at the rear for the electrical cord and an outdoor GFI outlet within 6 ft. Natural gas installs need 3/4 in gas lines. Under combustible construction an exhaust hood is required, so plan the island and overhead early. Confirm the access door rough opening size before framing. In New York City, gas work for an outdoor grill must be done by a licensed master plumber under permit. The Lynx manual describes lifetime coverage as rust-through that makes a part inoperable and excludes surface rust.
