The Majestic DVP-FS is the ceiling firestop for Majestic DVP co-axial direct vent (5 in. inner by 8 in. outer). It holds the required clearance where the vent passes through a ceiling or floor. Majestic lists the DVP-FS in the DVP vent components for the Meridian and Quartz fireplaces.

Installation Notes

Frame the opening to the firestop dimensions in your fireplace manual. Have a qualified technician install it per the kit instructions and fireplace manual. In NYC, gas appliance and vent work is done by a licensed master plumber under the NYC Fuel Gas Code.
