The Majestic Lanai 60 (ODLANAIG-60) is a single-sided outdoor vent-free linear gas fireplace for covered porches, patio walls and outdoor rooms where a clean 60-inch ribbon of flame is the focal point. A stainless steel interior reflects the flame and the crushed glass bed, multicolor LED lighting keeps it glowing after dark, and there is no chimney or vent to build, which keeps the wall shallow at 13-3/8 inches deep.

Installation Notes
This is an outdoor vent-free appliance listed to ANSI Z21.97 for outdoor decorative gas appliances; it must never be installed indoors, in a garage or in any enclosed area. Majestic defines an outdoor space as no more enclosed than walls with no roof, a roof with no more than two side walls, or a roof with three walls and at least 30% of the perimeter permanently open. Natural gas needs 5.0 to 10.5 in. w.c. at the inlet and propane 11 to 13 in. w.c. Keep at least 39 in. to the ceiling and 36 in. to any combustible object, and run power from a GFCI-protected circuit. Installation should be done by a qualified, factory-trained or NFI-certified gas technician. For New York City addresses, outdoor gas fireplaces and their gas piping fall under the NYC Fuel Gas Code and Department of Buildings permitting, so the approval path for this vent-free unit must be confirmed before you buy. We review that, along with Long Island, Westchester and New Jersey sites, during a design consultation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can the Lanai 60 be installed in New York City?
It is certified for outdoor use only, and any NYC installation of an outdoor gas fireplace must clear the NYC Fuel Gas Code and Department of Buildings process, plus building management approval on a rooftop. Confirm the approval path with us and a licensed master plumber before ordering.
Is the glass media included?
Yes. Clear crystal crushed glass is packed inside the firebox. Scarlet, Ebony, Cobalt and Amber are optional upgrades in the options above.
Can I use the driftwood logs and the stone kit together?
No. Majestic's manual allows either the CDLS driftwood log set or the stone kit on the glass bed, not both at once.
Can it go under a covered patio?
Yes, if the space still meets Majestic's outdoor definition (a roof with no more than two side walls, or three walls with at least 30% of the perimeter open) and you keep 39 in. to the ceiling and 39 in. below a standard soffit.

Warranty
Per the Lanai series owner's manual, Outdoor Lifestyles by Hearth & Home Technologies provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty on the product body, metal firebox and heat exchanger. Gas and electrical components, gaskets, glass and media (thermal breakage), optional accessories and labor for warranty service are covered for one year from installation. Coverage requires purchase through an authorized dealer and applies at the original installation site.
