The Montigo Divine Multi-Sided 38 See-Thru (H38F) is a direct vent gas fireplace with glass on two opposite sides, so one fire warms two rooms or lights up a covered porch and the room behind it. It ships with a traditional burner and logset and a heritage brick liner, and you choose a standing pilot with manual controls or electronic ignition (IPI) that adds remote, fan and app options.

- Required: 5 in. / 8 in. direct vent pipe, termination, firestops and heat shields. Montigo-approved Duravent parts such as 58DVA-HC, 58DVA-VCH, 58DVA-36 and 58DVA-E90 connect through Montigo's 58DVA-AD-M1 and M2 adapters
- Required: a wall switch, an accessible gas shutoff valve and, for IPI models, unswitched 120 VAC power

Installation Notes
See-through units need framing and finishing on both sides, a vent path to the outside and a non-recessed installation. If the unit sits on carpet, vinyl or other combustible flooring, it needs a wood or metal panel the full width and depth. Gas and venting work must be done by a licensed installer. In New York City, direct vent gas fireplaces must meet the NYC Fuel Gas Code and need a permitted installation. Book a consultation and we will confirm venting and framing before you order.

Standing pilot or IPI?
The standing pilot (no I in the model) uses a manual knob and wall switch with a pilot that stays lit. The IPI version (NI or LI) lights the pilot on demand, uses a Proflame 2 control and unlocks the remote, fan and app options.
Does it have a contemporary burner option?
This listing is the traditional burner with logset. Montigo makes the Divine in contemporary versions as separate models.
Can it run on propane?
Yes. Choose Propane in the Fuel Type option. Propane input is 32,000 BTU/h on the spec sheet.
