The Blaze BLZ-ICEMKR-50GR is a 15 inch outdoor ice maker that makes up to 50 lb of cube ice a day and holds 25 lb in its bin, so drinks and coolers stay stocked without trips to the kitchen. It vents from the front, so it can slide under an outdoor kitchen counter or stand alone, and it drains by gravity to a nearby floor drain or standpipe.

What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Included: ice maker with drain hose (about 5 ft) and water supply hose; ice scoop per current listing
- Required: a dedicated, grounded 115V outlet on a 15 A circuit, a 1/4 in cold water line with shutoff valve, a water filter (Blaze requires one), and a floor drain or standpipe within about 5 ft
- Drain: horizontal runs need a 1/4 in per foot fall; if gravity draining is not possible, Blaze recommends a condensate pump
Installation Notes
Blaze designed this unit for outdoor kitchens, but it must be protected from wind, rain, water spray and drips, operate between 50 and 100 F, and sit at least 6 in from the grill. Keep the drain hose below the bin floor and allow an air gap at the drain. Installation should be done by qualified personnel to state and local electrical and plumbing codes. In the New York area, plan to shut down, drain and protect the unit and lines when temperatures fall below 50 F. Book a free design consultation and we will help you place it in the island.

Does it need a floor drain?
It drains by gravity, so it needs a floor drain or standpipe within about 5 ft with a 1/4 in per foot fall. If that is not possible, Blaze recommends a condensate pump.
Can it go right next to the grill?
No. Blaze requires at least 6 in from a grill or other high heat source.
Does it have to be covered?
Yes. It must be protected from wind, rain, spray and drips, and run between 50 and 100 F.
Is a water filter needed?
Yes. Blaze requires a water filter on the supply line.

Warranty
Blaze's manual gives a one year limited warranty to the original purchaser for normal residential use, covering repair or replacement of defective parts. Labor is not covered, shipping on warranty parts is charged, and rental or commercial use is excluded.
