Installation Notes

Place the pieces per the Driftwood Log Setups section of the VRL3000 manual with the fireplace off and cool. On a vent-free fireplace, pieces must never block the burner or the pilot, since that affects combustion.

Vent-free gas appliances cannot be installed in New York City under the NYC Fuel Gas Code. We sell this kit for installations outside the five boroughs where local code allows vent-free fireplaces.
