The Superior DRT6345 (DRT6345TEN) is a 45-inch traditional direct vent gas fireplace with a SIT ProFlame remote and wall receiver switch, rated 40,000 to 57,000 BTU on natural gas and listed for bedrooms and mobile homes.
It ships with the log grate, glowing embers, platinum embers and volcanic stone. A firebox liner kit is required to finish the firebox, and the manual lists the log set among the required firebox accessories. Propane is offered with the GCK-MDLX45NP conversion kit in the options.

- Required: one firebox liner kit, such as the BLKH-LSM45 Buff Herringbone ceramic liner (LKC-BFRS-MDLX45, LKC-RDRS-MDLX45, BLK-REDH-LSM45 and LKP-BK-MDLX45 are the other choices)
- Required firebox floor: the traditional oak log set LOG-OAK-MDLX4045; confirm it with your order
- Required: 8 in. / 11 in. IHP DV Lock vent pipe and termination, sold separately
- Required for propane: GCK-MDLX45NP conversion kit (select Propane in the options)
Installation Notes
Install by a qualified gas fitter to the current Superior installation manual, including framing, shelf and mantel clearances, venting and the electrical connection for the receiver.
In New York City gas fireplace work requires a licensed master plumber and permit. Book a fireplace design consultation to plan the wall, venting and finish.

Is the liner included?
No. One ceramic or porcelain firebox liner kit is required.
Can I run it on propane?
Yes. Choose Propane in the options to add the GCK-MDLX45NP conversion kit, installed by a qualified technician.
Is there a smaller size?
Yes, the DRT6340 40-inch model.

Warranty
Innovative Hearth Products 20 Year Limited Warranty (installation manual): the fireplace body, firebox, barrier and ceramic glass are covered for 20 years from the date of installation. The burner, gas components and gaskets are covered for one year, optional blowers and remote controls for one year, tempered glass for one year and optional glass doors for 90 days; parts not otherwise listed carry a 90 day warranty. Labor is paid at prevailing IHP rates for each component's warranty period. Vent components, trim and paint are excluded. Refer to the manual for full terms.
