The Lynx Ventana LTA30-4 combines a slide-out trash or recycling bin with two stacked drawers in one 30 in Ventana unit. Lynx designed the trash side to also accommodate a portable propane tank, the drawers run on soft-close full-extension slides, and seals along the drawers help keep dust and water out.

Installation Notes

Frame a 25-7/16 in wide by 19 in high opening with 24-1/2 in of depth, leaving at least 3-1/2 in above and 2-1/2 in below as the Lynx drawing shows, then set the unit in and fasten it through the 11/16 in mounting flange. The unit has a 5 ft power cable for its interior lighting, so plan an outlet or Lynx power connection inside the island.

If you use the trash side for the grill's propane cylinder, follow your grill manual for enclosure ventilation. In New York City, FDNY rules limit propane cylinder storage on balconies, terraces and rooftops, so confirm what your building allows before planning tank storage in the island.
