The Warming Trends AON S48 is a 48 in. square powder-coated steel gas fire table with a 180,000 BTU CROSSFIRE brass burner and a flush cover that gives you a clean table top when the fire is off. It is aimed at patio owners who want a fire feature with a finished, furniture-style body rather than a burner kit to build around. This listing is the Natural Gas, Black version with Mercury style push button, manual thermocouple ignition.

Installation Notes

Warming Trends calls for 36 in. of horizontal clearance and 84 in. of overhead clearance to combustibles, a level, stable, non-combustible surface, and a gas shutoff outside the fire feature. For Mercury ignition on natural gas the owner's guide lists an inlet pressure of 3.5 to 10.0 in. w.c. Use fire-rated media only and keep it within the depth limits in the guide. In New York City an outdoor gas fire pit falls under the NYC Fuel Gas Code and needs a permitted installation. Book a design consultation and we will help you plan the gas line and placement.

Overhead clearance to combustibles is 84 in. per Warming Trends. Check local code and talk to us before you plan a covered install.

What does the cover do?

The flush cover sits over the pan to make a flat table top when the fire is not in use.
