The Warming Trends AON S56 is a 56 in. square powder-coated steel gas fire table with a 280,000 BTU CROSSFIRE brass burner and a flush cover for a clean table top when the fire is off. It is the larger square size in the line, for patios where the fire table is the centerpiece of the seating area. This listing is the Natural Gas, Black version with push button ignition.

Installation Notes

Warming Trends calls for 36 in. of horizontal clearance and 84 in. of overhead clearance to combustibles, a level, stable, non-combustible surface, and a gas shutoff outside the fire feature. A 280,000 BTU burner needs a gas line sized for that load, so have the supply checked before delivery. Use fire-rated media only and keep it within the depth limits in the owner's guide. In New York City an outdoor gas fire pit falls under the NYC Fuel Gas Code and needs a permitted installation. Book a design consultation and we will help you plan the gas line and placement.

Natural gas or propane?

This listing is the natural gas version. Confirm the fuel before ordering, because the burner and orifice are set for one fuel.

Does the 280,000 BTU burner need a bigger gas line?

It needs a supply sized for the load. Have your plumber or gas fitter confirm capacity before delivery.

What does the cover do?

The flush cover sits over the pan to make a flat table top when the fire is not in use.
