The Warming Trends AON R72 is a 72 x 38 inch rectangular powder-coated steel gas fire table with a 290,000 BTU CROSSFIRE brass burner and a Mercury push-button, standing pilot ignition. A flush-mount cover keeps the surface clean when the fire is off, and the 10-inch ledge gives a seating or serving edge around a 52 x 18 inch pan. This listing is the black, natural gas configuration.

What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Included: AON R72 fire table, CROSSFIRE brass burner with WATERSTOP, ventilated pan, control box, Mercury ignition and flush-mount cover
- You will need: burner media to cover the jets, such as Warming Trends black lava rock (BLR) or rolled lava rock (LRR); the listing recommends one bag of lava rock or 118 lbs of fire glass
- You will need: a natural gas stub-out and the dual flex line kit shown in the manual for the R72, plus an AA battery for the ignition
Installation Notes
Installation and service must be performed by a qualified installer. Natural gas inlet pressure for the Mercury ignition must be between 3.5 and 10 inches W.C. Keep 36" of side clearance and at least 72" of overhead clearance to combustible structures or materials, place the table on a stable, level, non-combustible surface, and keep at least 1" of clearance under the adjustable feet. Do not cover the jets with more than 1/2" of media. Outdoor use only. Check local code and permit requirements, and plan your layout in a design consultation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this table need an electrical connection?
The Mercury system is a push-button standing pilot that runs on an AA battery in the ignition, so it does not use the 24 V power of the Platinum system.
How do I light it?
Remove the cover, press the control knob to the pilot position, press the ignition button until the pilot lights, and hold the knob for 45 seconds before turning up the flame.
Do I need to add media?
Yes. The burner jets are covered with lava rock or fire glass, kept to no more than 1/2" over the jets.
Can I use it under a covered patio?
The manual requires at least 72" of clearance above the appliance to combustible structures, and it must never be used under a sealed overhead structure or in an enclosed space.

Warranty
Warming Trends warrants the fabrication and structure of each AON for 3 years from the purchase date for residential use, and the powder coating for 12 months from delivery.
