Description

Burner sizes: 18 x 6.75 in. (120,000 BTU) to 48 x 14 in. (340,000 BTU)

The Warming Trends CROSSFIRE CFBH is an H-style jetted brass burner for rectangular and linear fire pits. Two long runs of CROSSFIRE jets joined by a center feed spread a wide, even flame across a rectangular opening, and the burner is 100% brass, so it will not rust in an outdoor fire feature.

Six sizes run from 120,000 to 340,000 BTU for openings from 28 x 15 to 62 x 25 in., in natural gas or propane. The four smaller sizes include Warming Trends' WATERSTOP fitting. This listing is the burner alone; plate, flex line, key valve and ignition are separate.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

Installation Notes

Warming Trends requires venting on at least two opposing sides of the enclosure, 18 sq in. minimum each, and at least 84 in. of overhead clearance from combustible structures or materials (June 2026 manual). Never fill the cavity with gravel or concrete, keep the burner serviceable from above, fit a gas shutoff outside the fire feature, and have a licensed gas professional make the connection and leak test. Cover the burner with approved media no more than 1/2 in. above the jets. For New York City addresses, outdoor gas fire features and their gas piping fall under the NYC Fuel Gas Code and Department of Buildings permitting, and propane at residences is restricted by the NYC Fire Code, so the approval path must be confirmed before you buy. Book a design consultation and we will size the burner, plate and gas line.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which size do I need?

Match the burner to the inside of your fire pit: the CFBH120 suits about a 28 x 15 in. opening and the CFBH340 about 62 x 25 in., per the Warming Trends size guide.

What does the WATERSTOP do?

It is a Warming Trends fitting that helps keep water and debris away from the valve and gas line. It is included on the CFBH120 through CFBH240.

Natural gas or propane?

Each burner is built for one fuel. Order the version that matches your supply; the two are not interchangeable without the correct parts.

What media can I use?

Fire-rated media made for fire features, such as lava rock or fire glass, no more than 1/2 in. above the jets. Never use gravel, pebbles or river rock.
