The Warming Trends CROSSFIRE CFBL is a straight, jetted brass burner for linear fire pits, fire tables and long trough features. A single run of CROSSFIRE jets mixes air with the gas for a tall, even line of flame, and because the burner is 100% brass it will not rust in an outdoor fire feature.

- Recommended: Warming Trends KV12 1/2 in. key valve kit and FL3612 36 x 1/2 in. flex line

Installation Notes
Warming Trends requires venting on at least two opposing sides of the enclosure, 18 sq in. minimum each, and at least 84 in. of overhead clearance from combustible structures or materials (June 2026 manual). Never fill the cavity with gravel or concrete, keep the burner serviceable from above, fit a gas shutoff outside the fire feature, and have a licensed gas professional make the connection and leak test. Cover the burner with approved media no more than 1/2 in. above the jets. For New York City addresses, outdoor gas fire features and their gas piping fall under the NYC Fuel Gas Code and Department of Buildings permitting, and propane at residences is restricted by the NYC Fire Code, so the approval path must be confirmed before you buy. Book a design consultation and we will size the burner, plate and gas line.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which length do I need?
Match the burner to the inside of your linear fire feature: the CFBL90 suits about a 20 x 6 in. opening and the CFBL270 about 62 x 12 in., per the size table above.
Is a plate or pan included?
No. This is the burner alone. Warming Trends also sells CFBL kits with a matched pan, flex line and key valve.
Natural gas or propane?
Each burner is built for one fuel. Order the version that matches your supply; the two are not interchangeable without the correct parts.
What media can I use?
Fire-rated media made for fire features, such as lava rock or fire glass, no more than 1/2 in. above the jets. Never use gravel, pebbles or river rock.
