The American Made Grills Atlas Power Burner (ATSPB2-LP) is the built-in high-output propane burner that matches AMG's Atlas grills. AMG's power burner manual calls for outdoor use only, installation and inspection to local and state codes, 18 in of clearance to combustible construction or an insulating liner, and no installation under unprotected overhead combustibles. Under a patio roof the cooking area should be covered by an exhaust hood, and AMG notes a fan of up to 1,000 CFM may be needed. In New York City, the FDNY restricts propane cylinder storage and use, so most city installs run on natural gas; ask us before ordering the LP model for a city address.
