- We allow returns on all new, unused, unassembled, and "resalable" items in their original packaging within 30 days of the delivery date for a refund (minus the original shipping costs, and the shipping costs you incur shipping the product back). Naturally, if your return is because of our error, you are not responsible for any shipping costs.

The Gatsby is the first freestanding piece in the Aquafire line — a self-contained 16" vapor flame in a decorative frame that needs nothing but an outlet and a jug of tap water. There is no cutout to build, no wall to open and no venting, so it works as a movable centerpiece, a showroom or event display, or the answer to an old masonry firebox that is never going to be used again.
- Plug-and-play freestanding design — no enclosure, no cutout, no installation trade required.
- Up to 18 hours of runtime from a 1.6 L tank, filled by hand in seconds.
- Two finial finishes included — swap the decorative accent balls to match black or gold hardware in the room.
- Retrofits an unused hearth — slide it into an existing firebox and get a working flame back without a chimney.
- Cool to the touch, zero emissions — no heat, no gas, no smoke, safe around children and pets.
- Low draw at just 35 W on a standard 120V outlet.
Choosing Your Configuration
No size selection is needed — the Gatsby is built in one 16" flame length. The Vapor Pure water softener and the Scent Diffuser are optional; leave both set to "Without" for the fireplace on its own. Because the Gatsby is hand-filled from the tap, a Vapor Pure softener is the single best protection for the mist maker in a hard water area. The Gatsby cannot be direct plumbed.

Warranty: Aquafire covers the Gatsby with a 2-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Filling the tank with untreated hard water is the most common cause of premature mist-maker failure and denied claims.
