The Aspire by Hestan 36-inch built-in natural gas grill with rotisserie runs three 304 stainless steel tubular U-burners, 23,000 BTU each, in a heavy-gauge 304 stainless welded body with 647 sq. in. of main grilling area. It is sized for a 36 in. island and a household that grills often and entertains on weekends. The value is in the details: a 14,000 BTU infrared rotisserie for roasts up to 40 lb, flip-to-clean briquette trays that spread heat evenly and a halogen-lit, spring-assisted hood for grilling after dark.

Installation Notes
Use a non-combustible island, or the AGIJ36 jacket for a wood frame. Leave 4 in. behind the grill for the hood, add the upper and lower vent openings, and put the 1/2 in. NPT gas connection and GFCI outlet below the grill. Under a roof, plan a Hestan outdoor vent hood. In NYC the gas line is run by a licensed plumber under permit and inspection. We have installed outdoor kitchens across NYC and Long Island for over 30 years; book a design consultation and we will confirm gas, electrical and cutouts before it ships.

Do I need an insulated jacket?
Only for a combustible island. Wood framing needs the AGIJ36 jacket even under stucco or stone.
How big a roast fits the rotisserie?
Up to 40 lb and about 10 in. in diameter, turned at a fixed 3 rpm over the rear infrared burner.
Can I convert it to propane later?
Yes, with a Hestan conversion kit installed by a licensed gas professional.
Warranty
Hestan limited warranty to the original purchaser: one year on the complete product; lifetime on the stainless grill body, tubular burners, sear and rotisserie burners; ten years on grates and warming rack; five years on spit rod, briquette trays, manifolds, valves and sealed burner assemblies; two years on other components. Extended coverage is parts only; surface rust and discoloration are excluded.
