The Aspire by Hestan 42-inch built-in propane grill with rotisserie runs four 304 stainless tubular U-burners, 23,000 BTU each, in a heavy-gauge 304 stainless welded body with 774 sq. in. of main grilling area. It is sized for a 42-inch island and a household that grills often and entertains on weekends. The value is in the details: an 18,000 BTU infrared rotisserie for roasts up to 40 lb, flip-to-clean briquette trays that spread heat evenly and a halogen-lit, spring-assisted hood for grilling after dark.

Installation Notes
Use a non-combustible island, or the AGIJ42 insulated jacket for a wood frame. Add the upper and lower island vent openings, and place the 1/2 in. NPT gas connection and a GFCI outlet below the grill. Under a roof, plan an outdoor-rated vent hood.
In NYC, 20 lb propane cylinders are allowed only at one- and two-family homes, so multi-family buildings need natural gas.

Do I need an insulated jacket?
Only for a combustible island. A wood-framed island needs the AGIJ42 jacket even under stucco or stone.
How big a roast fits the rotisserie?
Up to 40 lb and about 10 in. in diameter, turned at 3 rpm in front of the rear infrared burner.
Can I switch fuels later?
Yes, with a Hestan NG/LP conversion kit installed by a licensed gas professional.
Does it need electricity?
Yes. Ignition and lighting run on 120V, so plan a grounded GFCI-protected outlet inside the island.

Warranty
Hestan limited warranty to the original purchaser: one year on the complete product; lifetime on the stainless grill body, tubular burners, sear burner and rotisserie infrared burner; ten years on cooking grates and warming rack; five years on spit rod, briquette trays, manifolds, gas valves and sealed burner assemblies; two years on all other components. Extended coverage is parts only, and surface corrosion and discoloration are excluded (Aspire use and care manual).
