The Broil King Imperial 490 is a 4-burner built-in gas grill head for outdoor kitchens, with 44,000 BTU from stainless Dual-Tube burners, a 10,000 BTU side burner and a 15,000 BTU rear rotisserie burner with a premium rotisserie kit. Cast stainless grids, a roll-action lid and built-in lights make it a capable, value-minded centerpiece for a masonry or steel-frame island.

Installation Notes
Broil King grills are for outdoor use only and must sit at least 30 in (76 cm) from combustible surfaces at the sides and the rear, per the owner's manual. Never use the grill under an unprotected overhead combustible surface, and never leave it unattended while lit. Build the island to Broil King's built-in instructions, with access for the gas connection and grease tray.
In New York City, a fixed natural gas line to a grill requires a licensed master plumber and a DOB permit, and FDNY restricts propane cylinder storage and use on balconies, terraces and rooftops, so confirm your building rules before choosing a fuel.
