The Broil King Regal S 690 Pro Infrared is a six-burner cart grill with two fully independent cookboxes, so you can run a hot sear zone on one side and a low roast on the other. Six stainless Dual-Tube burners deliver 60,000 BTU across a 500 sq in large cookbox and a 250 sq in small cookbox, with a 10,000 BTU infrared side burner and a 15,000 BTU rear burner with a premium rotisserie kit. The cart has 304 stainless side shelves, stainless doors and lids, and a pull-out tank drawer on propane models.

Installation Notes

This is a freestanding cart grill for outdoor use only. Broil King requires 30 in from combustible surfaces at each side and at the rear, and prohibits operation under any overhead roof construction. Connect the GFI power cord for the lights. A natural gas hookup should be made by a qualified installer; in New York City a fixed natural gas line requires a licensed master plumber and a DOB permit, and FDNY restricts propane cylinder storage and use, so most city installs run on natural gas. Talk to our design team about fuel and placement for your space.

Why two cookboxes?

Each cookbox has its own lid and burners, so you can sear in one and roast or keep food warm in the other at a different temperature.

Is it portable?

It is a freestanding cart grill on 3 in locking casters, weighing 270 lb per Broil King, so it rolls on a patio but is not a tabletop or travel grill.

Can I use it under a covered patio?

No. Broil King prohibits operation under any overhead roof construction and requires 30 in from combustibles at the sides and rear.

Is it available for natural gas?

Yes. Broil King lists SKU 957947 for natural gas and 957944 for propane; choose the fuel in the variant selector.

Warranty

Broil King's owner's manual lists, for Regal grills, a limited lifetime warranty on lid components and the stainless cookbox, and 15 years on stainless grids, Dual-Tube burners, side, rear and infrared side burners (excluding screen), stainless components and remaining parts and paint. The Flav-R-Wave is covered against rust-through for 5 years on Regal models; surface rust is not covered.
