Description

The Bromic Affinity Smart-Heat Expansion Board (BH3130070) adds wired building-automation control to a Bromic Affinity Smart-Heat controller. It gives the controller an Ethernet connection and 0-10V inputs, so a home automation or building management system (BMS) can run the heaters instead of the Bromic app.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

  • Affinity expansion board and blue jumper cable (Bromic)
  • You will need: an Affinity Smart-Heat 1 or 2 channel controller and a BMS or automation system with a 0-10V output

Optional Accessories

Installation Notes

The board plugs into the controller and is secured with two screws; set up the 0-10V signal in the BMS or automation system. A licensed electrician or integrator should do the wiring. Planning heaters for a terrace or covered patio? Book a design consultation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need it for Alexa or Google Home?

No. Bromic says Google Home and Amazon Alexa connect directly without the expansion board.

Can I still use the Bromic app?

Not while the board is in BMS mode: connecting the jumper hands control to the BMS and disables the app.

Warranty

Authorized Bromic dealers list a one year Bromic warranty on heater parts and accessories against defects in materials or workmanship, for the original purchaser, labor not included. The heater has its own warranty.
