The Bromic Platinum 300 Smart-Heat Gas heater (BH0110001-1 natural gas, BH0110002-1 propane) is a wall or ceiling mounted radiant patio heater behind Bromic's ceramic-glass screen, rated at 23,600 BTU for about 160 sq ft. It is built for covered patios, pergolas and restaurant terraces where a freestanding mushroom heater would be in the way, and it ties into Bromic's Affinity smart controls or a manual wall switch. Choose the fuel, an optional heat deflector and an Affinity on/off controller above.

Installation Notes

Bromic approves the Platinum gas heater for outdoor areas only, never indoor residential spaces. Outdoors means an open area, or a covered area with no more than two walls, or one with more walls only if Bromic's open-area percentages are met. Mount at least 8 ft above the ground and keep the listed clearances to combustibles; installation must be done by an authorized gas installer to local code. In New York City, gas work must be done by a licensed master plumber under a DOB permit, and propane storage carries FDNY rules.
