The Bromic Platinum Smart-Heat Electric 4500W (BH3622000, black) is the largest heater in Bromic's slim Platinum electric line, rated for about 143 square feet from a single unit. At 2.1 inches deep it sits tight to a ceiling, beam or wall, and it can be recessed with Bromic's kits for a near-invisible install. It suits covered terraces, pergolas and restaurant patios with 220 to 240V service where you want serious radiant heat without a bulky heater in view.

Installation Notes

Installation must be carried out by a licensed electrician to local code. Mount at least 71 in above the floor on a wall or 96 in on a ceiling, keep 3 ft clear in front, and do not install it above or in front of an electrical outlet, or near a pool, shower or bathtub. Bromic does not allow this heater on boats or recreational vehicles. Many New York City buildings have 208V service; if yours does, choose the 208V Platinum (BH3622004 in black). Black or white?

Same heater in two finishes. Black disappears against dark wood and pergolas; the white version is BH3622001.
