The Bromic BH3623010 is the low-clearance ceiling recess kit for the Platinum Smart-Heat Electric 3400W marine grade heater. It sets the heater flush into a ceiling or soffit that has only about 7 in (180 mm) of space above the finished surface, so a covered terrace, pergola or restaurant ceiling can have hidden radiant heat where a standard recess box will not fit. The 316 stainless steel construction suits coastal and pool-side sites.

Installation Notes
The kit must be permanently installed by a licensed electrician to local code. Do not cut or notch joists or rafters, confirm the structure can carry the kit and heater, never cover the heater with insulation, and protect it fully from water above. The fan must have a constant, unswitched supply, and the heater will not run unless the thermal cut-off plug is fitted in the terminal box.
In New York City, the heater and fan circuits require a licensed electrician and an electrical permit.

Why does it need constant power?
The kit fan cools the recess and must run independently of the heater switch.
