The Bromic Platinum Smart-Heat Electric Marine is a slim, wall or ceiling mounted infrared heater built in 316 stainless steel for coastal and waterfront patios, terraces and covered decks. It is for owners who want radiant heat that disappears into the architecture and holds up to salt air. Choose 2300W, 3400W or 4500W, in black or white, on 208V or 240V.

What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Included: Heater and mounting bracket with installation hardware (per current listing)
- You will need: A dedicated circuit sized for the rated current above, wired by a licensed electrician with a disconnect means, because the heater has no power switch
- You will need: A control, such as the Bromic Affinity Smart-Heat control system or the Affinity manual switch
- Optional: Ceiling recess kit or suspension pole for ceiling mounting
Installation Notes
The heater must be permanently installed by a licensed electrician, with a bipolar circuit breaker upstream. Marine variants are for land and coastal installations only and must not be installed on boats. Keep furniture, fixtures and plants at least 3 ft from the heater and keep combustibles outside the clearances in the manual. Wait 2 hours after switching off before handling. We install heaters across NYC, Long Island and New Jersey; book a design consultation and we will confirm mounting height, power and controls.

Which wattage do I need?
Bromic rates the heat area at 65 sq. ft. for 2300W, 108 sq. ft. for 3400W and 143 sq. ft. for 4500W. Larger or breezier spaces call for the higher output.
Should I choose 208V or 240V?
Match the voltage at your panel. Rated current differs by voltage, so size the circuit from the table above.
Can I dim it?
Yes. The Affinity dimmer controls output from 0 to 100%. Controls are sold separately.
Can it go on a boat or yacht?
No. Bromic states the marine grade heater is for land and coastal installations only and must not be installed on marine craft.

Bromic US lists a 5 year warranty for Platinum Electric Marine on land-based installations, from the date of purchase to the original owner. Bromic replaces the heater or part; the owner pays labor, shipping and other costs.
