The Challenger Designs Coastal 90.125 WGRS is a pre-built, powder-coated aluminum outdoor kitchen island that holds a grill of 32 inches or smaller, a 21.5-inch-wide refrigerator opening, a pull-out waste bin and a sink base with a 15-inch stainless bar sink and faucet. It is for the homeowner who wants a finished 7.5-foot cooking and prep wall without a masonry build, delivered fully assembled.
All-aluminum construction does not rust, warp or rot, hardware is 304 stainless steel, and the cabinets are weather-sealed apart from the vented grill base. Pick a countertop, cabinet color and door style; the grill itself is not included.

- Required: a gas grill of 32 inches or smaller with a cutout width of 30.75 inches or less (the grill model must be specified once the order is placed) and a refrigerator sized for the 21.5 by 33.625 inch opening
- Required: gas supply (20 lb LP tank cutout under the grill, or natural gas plumbed by your installer), 120V power for the refrigerator and a level pad or deck
- Optional: color-matched toe kick kit; the Challenger notes list an on-demand water system option for other Coastal models, so ask us what applies to this one
Installation Notes
Delivery is by freight and the island arrives assembled, so plan for a pallet or lift-gate path to the patio. Set the island on a level, non-combustible surface, allow for grill and refrigerator ventilation as their manuals require, and have gas piping done by a qualified installer. In New York City, gas work must be done by a licensed master plumber under a DOB permit, and propane tank storage carries FDNY rules. We install in NYC, Long Island, Westchester and New Jersey.
