The Outdoor GreatRoom Crystal Fire Plus linear burner is a stainless steel gas burner for custom-built fire pits and outdoor fire features. You build the enclosure, drop in the burner, and cover it with tempered fire glass for a tall, full flame. It is for landscape designers, builders and homeowners who need a specific length, from 24 to 120 inches, rather than a finished fire pit.

What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Included (per the Crystal Fire Plus linear manual): burner with trim, 1/2 inch stainless steel flex line, manual control valve, push-button sparker, control panel with knob, natural gas conversion kit, and clear glass media in 5 lb bags
- The 24 and 42 inch kits include a 10 foot regulator hose for a 20 lb propane cylinder. The 64 inch and larger kits do not, because they burn more gas than a standard cylinder can supply
- The 72 inch and larger kits include two valves, two sparkers and two control panels
- Required: a non-combustible enclosure you build with required vents, a gas supply or propane cylinder, a licensed gas installer, and a GFCI protected outlet for DSI versions
- Optional: tempered fire glass gems and an outdoor ceramic fiber log set; glass wind guards and burner covers are available from Outdoor GreatRoom
Installation Notes
For outdoor use only, in an enclosure that meets the manual's clearance, ventilation and non-combustible top requirements. Gas connections should be leak checked and made by a licensed installer when connected to a fixed gas line. In New York City, outdoor gas appliances, gas piping and propane storage fall under the NYC Fuel Gas Code, FDNY rules and DOB permitting, so the approval path must be confirmed before purchase. Frequently Asked Questions
Which size should I choose?
Match the burner length to the opening in your enclosure. The burner trim is 13.5 inches wide on every size, and the manual lists the trim length for each. Higher BTU sizes use more gas, so confirm your gas line capacity.
Can I run it from a propane cylinder?
The 24 and 42 inch kits include a regulator hose for a 20 lb cylinder. The 64 inch and larger kits do not, because they use more gas than a standard cylinder can supply, so plan a larger or hard-piped supply.
Does it include fire glass?
Yes. Each kit includes clear tempered glass gems, from 15 lb on the 24 inch to 50 lb on the 120 inch. Other media is sold separately.
Is it only for outdoor use?
Yes. Outdoor GreatRoom lists it as an outdoor decorative gas appliance and requires the clearances and enclosure ventilation in the manual.
