The Outdoor GreatRoom Crystal Fire Plus round burner is a stainless steel gas burner for custom built outdoor fire pits and fire features. It comes in 20 in (CFP20) and 30 in (CFP30) sizes, each as a manual ignition kit or with direct spark ignition, and produces a tall, full flame over a bed of tempered glass media.

What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Manual ignition kits (-K): stainless steel burner, variable control safety valve (VCSV), push-button sparker, black control panel (VCSV-CP-BLK), control knob, 1/2 in stainless steel flex line, natural gas conversion kit and clear glass media (CFG-D), plus a 10 ft LP hose and regulator on CFP20-K only (CFP30 draws too much gas for a 20 lb tank and ships without one)
- Direct spark ignition models (DSI LP or DSI NG): ordered for one fuel and not field convertible
- You will need: a non-combustible enclosure built to the manual, enclosure ventilation, a licensed gas connection, and for DSI models a GFCI protected outlet or the optional CF-DSI-BP battery pack (2 D cells)
- Other fire media, pavers, construction materials and accessories are sold separately
Installation Notes
The Crystal Fire Plus burner is for outdoor use only, in a space that meets the manual's outdoor definition (no overhead cover with four walls; or a cover with no more than two walls; or a cover with three walls where at least 30 percent of the wall area is open). Keep 24 in of clearance from the sides of the burner and 72 in overhead, measured from the top of the burner. The enclosure needs 4 in of clearance around the burner pan, a non-combustible top surface, and vents: two openings within 5 in of the top and two within 5 in of the bottom, sized by the amount of stored fuel. Supply pressure: LP 8 to 14 in WC (11 ideal), NG 3.5 to 10.5 in WC (7 ideal). In New York City, a fixed natural gas line requires a licensed master plumber and a DOB permit, and FDNY restricts propane cylinder storage and use, so most city installs run on natural gas; ask us before ordering an LP setup for a city address. FAQ
Which size should I choose?
The CFP20 is 21.06 in across and the CFP30 is 32.00 in across. Pick the size that fits your fire pit with 4 in of clearance to the enclosure walls.
Can I run the CFP30 on a 20 lb propane tank?
No. The manual states the CFP30 gas consumption is too high for a 20 lb tank, so it ships without the LP hose and regulator.
Can a DSI model be converted to the other fuel?
No. Direct spark ignition models are built for LP or NG and are not field convertible. The manual ignition kit includes a natural gas conversion kit.
Can it go under a covered porch?
Only if the space meets the manual's outdoor definition and the 72 in overhead clearance is kept. Fully enclosed or mostly enclosed spaces are not allowed.
