The Delta Heat DHPW22 is a 22 inch built-in power burner for outdoor kitchens, with a 60,000 BTU dual ring cast brass burner for wok cooking, boiling and searing. It is built from 304 stainless steel with a stainless grate and removable wok ring, a stainless top cover to close it up when not in use, LED control panel lights and 9V electronic ignition. Choose natural gas or propane, a stainless, black or white control panel, and an optional cover above.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

Installation Notes

Delta Heat certifies the power burner for outdoor use only; never use it inside a building, garage or other enclosed area, and never under unprotected overhead combustible construction. Keep at least 12 in to combustible construction at the sides and back. In New York City, gas work must be done by a licensed master plumber under a DOB permit, and propane tank storage in the city carries FDNY rules, so confirm the fuel with us before you order. Can I use a wok on it?

Yes. Remove the middle grate (wok ring) to seat a wok on the burner.

Does it need electricity?

The ignition runs on a 9V battery; the LED panel lights plug into a grounded 120V GFCI outlet.

What cutout does it need?

19.50 in W x 20.75 in D x 11.50 in H in non-combustible construction, ideally 6 to 12 in below the countertop.

Can it go in a wood-framed island?

Only with the Delta Heat insulating jacket and at least 12 in to combustibles at the sides and back.

Warranty

Delta Heat's manual lists a limited two-year warranty on the power burner and a one-year full warranty on the burner and all components, for the original owner under normal residential use. Discoloration, staining and minor surface rust are excluded, and the registration card must be sent in to activate coverage.
