Description
Description
Overall Dimensions: 31-1/8 x 26-5/8 x 12-1/8 in (W x H x D), per the Dimplex REV30 specification
The Dimplex Revillusion 30 in built-in electric firebox (REV30-HB) uses Dimplex's patented Revillusion flame and a partially frosted acrylic panel so the flames appear to rise from inside handcrafted Realogs, with a full-depth view into a herringbone interior. It installs in a framed wall or an existing fireplace opening and wires to 120V, 208V or 240V for up to about 8,800 BTU of fan-forced heat.
Features
- Revillusion flame effect with brighter, more random flames that appear to rise from within the logs
- Realogs handcrafted from real wood with internal LED lighting, over a tumbled glass and black gravel ember bed
- Herringbone interior surround (270 degree on the brick versions) with adjustable mood lighting
- Fan-forced, louver-less heater: 1,300 W at 120V, 1,975 W at 208V, 2,575 W at 240V
- Self-trimming flange finishes the rough opening; 30 in tempered front glass and plug kit included
- Built-in touch controls and a multi-function remote

- Multi-function remote

Installation Notes
Dimplex recommends a dedicated, properly fused 15 A circuit at the voltage you choose; wire 120V with a 3-wire circuit or 208V/240V with a 4-wire circuit, or use the included plug kit at 120V. In a bathroom the unit must be on a GFCI-protected circuit. No venting is required.
Electric fireplaces need no chimney, vent or gas line, which makes them one of the few fireplace options most New York City co-op and condo boards approve. A hardwired installation is electrical work that must be performed by a licensed electrician in NYC.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it fit my existing fireplace?
If the opening is at least the framing size (30-5/8 x 26-1/4 x 12-1/2 in) it can slide in, and the optional 38 in or 44 in trim covers larger openings.
Does it need a dedicated circuit?
Dimplex recommends one, especially if the heater trips a shared breaker. It can plug into a 120V outlet with the included plug kit or be hardwired at 120V, 208V or 240V.
Can I run the flames without heat?
Yes. Flame-only operation draws about 40 W.
What is the difference between the finishes?
Only the interior backer: Neutral Brick, Weathered Concrete, Herringbone or Black.
