Installation Notes
Dimplex recommends a dedicated, properly fused 15 A, 120V circuit. When hardwiring with a wall switch, use a single pole, single throw switch rated for at least 15 A. Keep at least 1/2 in of air space behind the unit.
Electric fireplaces need no chimney, vent or gas line, which makes them one of the few fireplace options most New York City co-op and condo boards approve. A hardwired installation is electrical work that must be performed by a licensed electrician in NYC.
