What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Sierra SIL60 fireplace
- Log, pebble and crystal media
- Table-top feet, wall mounting hardware and multi-function remote
- You will need: a grounded 120V outlet on a 15 A circuit (dedicated preferred), and framing for a built-in install
Installation Notes
Plug the Sierra directly into a properly grounded 120V outlet; never use an extension cord or power strip. Dimplex requires a 15 A circuit and prefers a dedicated one, which becomes necessary if the breaker trips when the heater runs. For an in-wall install, frame an opening of 52.4 x 18.5 x 6.5 in as the owner's manual shows.
Electric fireplaces need no chimney, vent or gas line, which makes them one of the few fireplace options most New York City co-op and condo boards approve. Any hardwired connection is electrical work for a licensed electrician in NYC.
