The Duravent 46DVA-HC is the aluminum square horizontal termination cap for 4 in x 6-5/8 in DirectVent Pro systems, rated for both standard and high-wind through-the-wall terminations. It has a square louvered face.

Installation Notes

Use only where your appliance maker approves this DirectVent Pro component. Check the appliance installation instructions for horizontal termination limits such as minimum distances from windows and doors. DirectVent Pro is a coaxial system: the outer pipe brings in combustion air and the inner pipe carries exhaust outside. Clearances are set by the appliance manufacturer. In New York City, terminations must meet NYC Fuel Gas Code distances from openings and gas work needs a licensed master plumber. Book a design consultation.

Do I need a standoff on vinyl siding?

Use the Duravent vinyl siding standoff kit sized for the square cap on vinyl or irregular siding.

Warranty

Duravent limited lifetime warranty to the original purchaser against material and manufacturing defects: 100% of the purchase price or MSRP (whichever is lower) for 15 years, then 50%; termination caps 100% for five years, then 10%. Labor is not covered, and Duravent requires installation by a qualified professional installer (DirectVent Pro instructions, 2017).
