The EcoSmart Fire Heritage Grate 50 is a drop-in bioethanol fireplace grate that gives a traditional hearth a real flame without a chimney flue, smoke or ash. It combines an iron-style black grate and ceramic logs with an XL900 burner, which you can choose in stainless steel or black. It suits a larger existing fireplace opening where you want a fire without gas work.

Installation Notes
Bioethanol burns without a flue, but fire codes and building rules still apply, so confirm that an ethanol appliance is acceptable in your building or co-op before ordering. Install only on a non-combustible surface in a level hearth, and keep the clearances above. Bioethanol is the only approved fuel; never use gasoline or other fuels. Warranty
Per the EcoSmart operations manual, stainless steel parts, including black ceramic coated parts, carry a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase, and mild steel and other listed materials carry 1 year. Chips and scratches are not covered, and installations in heavy snow areas need the Winter Bag to keep coverage. Our current listing states 12 months, so confirm the terms that apply to your order.
