The EcoSmart Fire XL700 is a 27.6 in drop-in linear bioethanol burner in grade 304 stainless steel with a 7 L tank and an approximate 9 to 12 hour burn. It sets into a non-combustible surround, cabinet, bench or firebox and needs no flue, gas line or wiring. Use it for a compact linear flame in a custom fireplace, media wall or outdoor setting.

Installation Notes
The XL700 must be set only into non-combustible materials on a flat, level surface, away from drafts. EcoSmart asks that drawings of a custom setting be sent to a local representative for review before installation. Check the burner against the cutout before work starts. Do not use it in a bathroom or other small room, and keep at least 3,178 cu ft of room volume per burner. Refuel only when the flame is out and the burner has cooled. Bioethanol needs no flue, but fire codes and building rules still apply, so confirm that an ethanol appliance is acceptable in your New York City building, co-op or condo before ordering. What size cutout does the XL700 need?
EcoSmart lists a cutout of 27.2 in x 7.1 in (690 x 180 mm) with a minimum depth of 5.1 in (130 mm). The lip rests on the surface and sits 0.2 in proud.
Can I use it indoors?
Yes. It is rated for indoor and outdoor use. Indoors the room must be at least 3,178 cu ft per burner, and it must not go in a bathroom or other small room.
How long does a full tank last?
The 7 L tank burns about 9 to 12 hours, using about 0.7 L per hour at the maximum setting.
Can I install two burners together?
Yes. XL burners can be set side by side for a longer linear flame. Room size requirements apply per burner.

Warranty
Per the EcoSmart operations manual (V0720), stainless steel parts, including raw, linished and powder coated, carry a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase, and mild steel, glass and other listed materials carry 1 year. Chips and scratches are not covered, and installation corrections, misuse and unapproved modifications are excluded. Our earlier listing stated 12 months, so confirm the terms that apply to your order.
