Description

Empire WA5FP — 5-Inch Fresh Air Intake Kit

Empire factory WA5FP is the five-inch fresh-air supply kit designed for compatible Empire St. Clair 4300 wood-burning fireplaces. It provides a closable outside-air intake for a properly planned and installed fresh-air duct run.

What is included?

The WA5FP fresh-air intake kit only, as supplied by Empire. The wood-burning fireplace itself, chimney components, exterior wall construction, associated labor, and any separately required duct fittings are not included.

Compatibility & planning

  • Empire SKU: WA5FP
  • Nominal outside-air kit diameter: 5 inches
  • Applicable fireplace: Empire St. Clair 4300 (WB43FP), per Ray Murray's 2026–27 catalog
  • Use the approved intake location and outside termination specified in the current Empire WA5FP instructions.

The external air grille is installed outside the building. The closable air damper must not be shut while the wood fireplace is operating or in standby. A qualified fireplace installer should confirm clearance and local building requirements. This is an accessory, not an operating fireplace or chimney kit.
