Empire St. Clair 3000: What Comes with the Fireplace?

Factory model WB30FP is the 2020-EPA-compliant St. Clair 3000 wood-burning firebox with an included blower, high-temperature ceramic glass, controlled combustion and the factory-installed firebrick/refractory as listed. The manufacturer catalog specifies a 3.0 cu. ft. firebox, 80,000 BTU/hr maximum output, 18-inch maximum log, and 6-inch approved chimney/venting, selected separately. Framing guide 49-1/8 inches high × 41-3/4 inches wide × 24 inches deep (minimum total space 80 inches high); always follow the current installation manual.

Required Components — Order Separately or Choose Complete Package

One door overlay and one matching faceplate are required for a finished manufacturer-approved installation. Select WD4BL black door overlay ($159) or WD4NB nickel door overlay ($429, special order), and WF4TBL traditional faceplate ($689). The basic WB30FP fireplace-only selection ($4,949) does not include either required decorative component. If ordering a combined option, its exact SKU shows the included fireplace, door overlay and faceplate; no extra door or faceplate is required for that package.

Additional costs not included: approved 6-inch chimney/venting components, professional installation and combustible-floor/hearth protection as required by the current manual. Optional screen barrier, gravity air kit, forced-air distribution kit and fresh-air kit are separate.

Refer to the manufacturer's complete installation manual for chimney design, installation clearances, emissions, local code and accessory compatibility. Do not operate an incomplete fireplace configuration.
