The Fire Magic 24-inch outdoor rated compact refrigerator (model 3589) is a 5.1 cubic foot stainless steel refrigerator made for the outdoor kitchen island. It has digital controls, a forced air cooling system with front ventilation, and your choice of left or right door swing, so it sits flush beside a grill or bar in a 24 inch opening.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

  • Included: refrigerator with shelves and door racks, anti-tip bracket, owner's manual and warranty card
  • Required: a dedicated, grounded 115V 15 A outlet within reach of the opening; the manual notes a GFCI can nuisance trip a refrigerator circuit, so follow local code
  • Required for freestanding use: the anti-tip bracket must be installed; it is not required for built-in installations
  • Choose the hinge side when you order; the two models are 3589-DL and 3589-DR

Installation Notes

Level the unit with its four legs, keep it out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources, and never block the front grille. Do not use an extension cord or an adapter. Do not cover the unit, and winterize it when daily lows reach 38 F or below, because operating below that temperature voids the warranty. Electrical work should be done by a qualified electrician. Can it be installed freestanding?

Yes, with the supplied anti-tip bracket fastened to the floor. For a built-in island the bracket is not required.

How cold does it get?

The control range is 34 to 42 F. Allow up to 24 hours to reach temperature and 48 hours to stabilize after loading.

Can the door swing be changed?

This listing offers the left hinge 3589-DL and the right hinge 3589-DR as separate options, so choose the side before you order.
