What Is Included and What You Will Need

  • You will need: a 20 lb propane cylinder for LP models, or a fixed natural gas line with a quick-disconnect hose for NG models, plus a GFCI outlet within reach

Installation Notes

Keep the cart outdoors on a level surface with the clearances in the Fire Magic manual, and never under an unprotected overhang. In NYC, 20 lb propane cylinders are allowed at one- and two-family homes but not on balconies, roofs or terraces of multi-family buildings; natural gas connections are run by a licensed plumber under permit.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the L in the model number mean?

L models swap the left gas burner for an infrared sear burner. E models have all gas burners.

What is the -W suffix?

It adds the Magic View Window in the hood.

What is the difference between 7 and 8 models?

8-series Aurora models add the infrared backburner and rotisserie kit; 7-series models do not have a backburner.

Can I build it into an island later?

The grill head is the same built-in model, so it can move into an island with the correct cutout; check the cart manual for removal steps.
