The Fire Magic Aurora A430i is the compact 24 in built-in gas grill in the Aurora line, here with the rear backburner and rotisserie kit. Two cast stainless steel burners give 50,000 BTU over a 24 x 18 in surface, hot surface ignition lights it with one push, and the 13,000 BTU backburner turns it into a rotisserie. It suits a smaller island where a 24 in cutout is all you have.

What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Included: grill, cooking and flavor grids, warming rack, grease tray, and the rotisserie kit with backburner.
- Required: a gas supply at the correct pressure, a 120 VAC 15 A GFCI grounded outlet, and a licensed gas fitter.
- Combustible enclosure: an insulating liner is required. See the Fire Magic insulating liner for A430i and C430i built-in grills.
- Optional: Fire Magic grill cover and heavy-duty rotisserie kit.
Installation Notes
Natural gas runs at 7 in w.c. normal (5 in minimum, 10 1/2 in maximum); propane at 11 in w.c. normal (10 in minimum, 13 in maximum). Keep 5 ft from the cooking surface to overhead construction. Side and rear wall clearance is 4 in to non-combustible walls, 14 in to protected combustible and 18 in to combustible walls; a non-combustible backsplash needs 4 in behind the unit. Fire Magic recommends a hood of at least 1200 CFM over a grill. A qualified professional must install it, and NYC and Long Island jobs need the proper permits. Book a design consultation and we will plan the cutout, gas and power.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the A430i need electricity?
Yes. Hot surface ignition and the lights need a 120 VAC, 15 A minimum GFCI grounded outlet.
How does the rotisserie work?
The rear backburner provides 13,000 BTU of heat and the rotisserie kit adds a motor and spit rod. It is controlled from the front gas panel.
What size cutout does it need?
25 1/2 in wide, 19 1/2 in deep and 11 1/2 in high for a non-combustible enclosure. A combustible enclosure needs the insulating liner, with different cutout dimensions.
Is there a Choice version?
Yes. The Choice C430i uses the same cutout and liner but with different burners and features.

Warranty
Fire Magic (R.H. Peterson) warrants cast stainless steel burners, cooking grids and housing for life of the original purchaser; brass valves, manifold assemblies, inner liners, porcelain housings and backburner assemblies (except ignition) for 15 years; flavor grids and infrared burners for 5 years; other components for 3 years; ignition systems, electronics (including lights) and accessories for 1 year.
