The Fire Magic 3280 is a compact drop-in single sideburner with a 15,000 BTU burner, for simmering sauces, boiling corn or keeping a pot warm beside the grill. It fits a narrow 8 3/4 in wide cut-out, and Fire Magic allows it in combustible framing with a 1/2 in air gap, so it does not need an insulating liner.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

- You will need: a gas supply line and shut-off valve, and a qualified gas installer
Installation Notes
Fire Magic requires installation to local codes or the National Fuel Gas Code by a qualified installer, with openings in the island for drainage and cross ventilation. In a combustible enclosure cut the larger 9 1/4 x 14 3/4 in opening so there is at least 1/2 in of air space on every side, and keep the burner 18 in from combustible materials. Do not install it under an unprotected combustible overhang.
In New York City, gas piping to an outdoor kitchen must be installed by a licensed master plumber, and terrace or rooftop islands in multifamily buildings usually need building approval. Adding a sideburner to an island? Book a design consultation.

The Fire Magic limited warranty applies to the original purchaser in single family residential use in the United States or Canada, requires proof of purchase and installation by a qualified professional, and excludes labor.
