Description
Description
Fire Magic Select 4-Series 20-Inch Horizontal Single Access Door - 44914
The compact horizontal door in the 2027 Fire Magic Select line, in 304 stainless steel for a 15 in high by 20 1/2 in wide island opening. At 15 in tall it is the shallowest door in the series, which makes it the one that fits where a counter overhang, a drawer bank above or a low island wall leaves very little face height to work with.
Construction is the same across the series: double-wall panel, square-edge detailing, heavy-duty magnetic latch and a continuous full-perimeter rain guard. Choose the hinge side to suit the layout: 44914-SR is right-hinged, 44914-SL is left-hinged.
Key Features
- Only 15 in of face height required. The smallest opening in the series, which is what makes it usable under a counter overhang or below a drawer bank.
- 304 stainless steel throughout. The grade that resists pitting and staining outdoors, including in coastal and poolside air.
- Double-wall construction. Two skins rather than one, so the panel feels solid and does not drum or flex when it closes.
- Heavy-duty magnetic latch. Holds shut against wind with nothing mechanical to wear out or fall out of adjustment.
- Continuous rain guard. Full-perimeter sealing keeps water out of the island enclosure.
- Exterior mounting with square-edge detailing. The frame sits proud of the island face, so it is forgiving of an opening that is slightly out of square.

Required to Complete the Installation
Nothing further is required. This is an exterior-mounted door with no gas or electrical connection and no separate frame kit to buy. It needs a finished island opening of 15 in high by 20 1/2 in wide.
Decide the hinge side before ordering, because it is set by the model number and is not changed in the field. 44914-SR is right-hinged and 44914-SL is left-hinged.
Optional Accessories and Matching Units
The Select 4-Series also includes the larger 24 1/2 in horizontal door (44917), vertical single doors at 14 1/2 in and 17 1/2 in (44920, 44924), a vertical door with louvers for propane tank ventilation (44920-1), double access doors at 30 in and 39 in (44930S, 44938S) and the 31 in large utility drawer (44830-S). Note on documentation: Fire Magic has not yet published a 4-Series specific installation sheet. The cut-out dimensions for every 4-Series model are identical to the corresponding Select 3-Series model, so the installation specifications above cover this opening. Cut-out figures published here are taken from the current Fire Magic price list effective October 1, 2026.
