The Hestan GIS30 is a 30 inch insulated outdoor sink for a Hestan kitchen island: a seamless, fully insulated stainless bowl that rinses produce, holds ice for drinks and handles cleanup without a trip indoors. A large drain accepts a disposer, and Hestan's slim Marquise accented speed rail comes with it. Add Hestan's outdoor-rated AGOF faucet and AGIB ice bin to complete the station.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

Installation Notes

Hestan recommends installation by a qualified technician or plumber to local building and plumbing codes, or the Uniform Plumbing Code where none apply, with provision in the island for fresh water and proper drainage. Access doors under the sink make service easier but are not required. In the New York area, plan to winterize the water lines and drain before freezing weather. Frequently Asked Questions

Is a faucet included?

Not with the GIS30. Hestan's AGOF outdoor-rated faucet is an accessory; it is included only on the refreshment center models.

Can I add a disposer?

Yes. The sink has a large drain hole for mounting a disposer, which is sold separately.

What cutout does it need?

At least 29-1/4 in wide, 24-1/4 in deep and 11-3/8 in high.

What is the difference from the GISHS30?

The GISHS30 adds a high shelf behind the sink and weighs 96 lb; the cutout is the same.

Warranty

Hestan Commercial Corporation's limited warranty covers defects for one (1) year from purchase or new construction closing, and the product itself carries an extension for the lifetime of the original purchaser, excluding surface corrosion, scratches and discoloration, parts only. The stainless faucet carries its own warranty (Hestan lists 10 years).
